About the Role:
Browndale Farm is seeking a dependable and hardworking herds person to join our dairy operation. This position is based in a modern dairy barn using a robotic milking system and involves hands-on work with livestock and daily barn tasks. We are looking for someone to aid with the daily feeding of cows and field work therefore heavy machinery operator experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general farm maintenance and daily chores
- Cleaning and maintaining stalls, alleys, and milking areas
- Feeding and caring for calves, including monitoring their health and development
- Monitoring herd health and reporting any concerns or irregularities
- Assisting with moving cattle between pens when needed
- Supporting calving and general animal care as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized barn environment
- Daily feed mixing with tractor, skid steer and pull mixer.

Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working with livestock and in a barn environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Previous farm or dairy experience is an asset, but not require
- Tractor experience is required for this position.
