Peralta Engineering is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects across drainage, water mains, sewers, roads and site development.

About the Role
As Project Manager, you will manage projects from concept through design, approvals and construction. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, work closely with municipalities and clients, manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to mentoring junior staff, improving project management practices and helping build the future capability of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage municipal infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resources.
- Manage client and municipal relationships.
- Coordinate regulatory approvals and submissions.
- Identify and manage project risks.
- Support and mentor junior engineers and project management team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- University Degree in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University engineering program) or equivalent degree program.
- Preferably a minimum of five years of project management experience in Ontario, Canada.
- An understanding of municipal infrastructure construction methods.
- Understanding of municipal approvals and regulatory processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering work.
- Experience in meeting budgetary objectives and the ability to adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of CAD standards and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Urban Planning assets.
- Experience working on drainage, water mains, sewers, roads and site development.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrological modelling software or related engineering systems.
- Experience working with Ontario municipalities.
