We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Advisor to join our Surrey office. In this role, you will manage client accounts and build long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional service. You will identify client needs, offer tailored insurance solutions, generate leads, prepare proposals, and conduct policy reviews to ensure clients are properly protected. You will also work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has hands-on ICBC/Autoplan experience, and values professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Managing client accounts including new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Process all ICBC/Autoplan transactions
- Use ICBC’s Policy Center for batching, adjustments, and endorsements
- Recommend insurance options tailored to client needs
- Achieve personal and branch sales targets
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation
- Stay updated on insurance rules, industry changes, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve client experience
- Use Epic to manage client data, documentation, follow-ups, and communications effectively
Qualifications
- BC Level 1 General Insurance License required (Level 2 preferred or willingness to pursue certification)
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on ICBC/Autoplan experience
- Proficiency with Epic or similar CRM systems for managing client data, documentation, and communications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and professionally
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Familiarity with insurance industry, products, and regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Bonus: Bilingual (English + another language)
