Skill Requirements:
- Experience not applicable - Will train. This is an opportunity to train to become a Pedorthist. With the intention to work for BioPed while obtaining Pedorthic certification as a Pedorthist through the UW Pedorthic Program.
- NOTE: University of Western Pedorthic Diploma 12 month program - Enrollment Date: Septmeber 2026
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, personable
Area of Specialization : Orthotic Specific; Consult, design, build, fit and repair orthotic appliances, Assess and advise patients in the use and care of orthoses, footwear, lower limb braces and compression stockings, Interpret physician's recommendations, Make and modify plaster casts and hand make custom orthotic devices.

Job Details : Salary based on 40 hours/week (Evenings & Saturday's)

Western University offers an alternative basis of admission to the Diploma in Pedorthics for students without a Kinesiology degree. The bridging program provides an alternative path for students with science-related backgrounds who do not meet the regular admission requirements. This comprehensive four-month online program covers the requirements necessary to proceed the Diploma in Pedorthics by offering the following core competencies: Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Systemic Functional Anatomy and Introduction to Athletic Injuries, preparing students who do not have a Kinesiology degree to enrol in the Diploma in Pedorthics.
