Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately and efficiently to process sales transactions
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Conduct product demos to inform customers about features and benefits of merchandise
- Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized cash drawers, perform basic math calculations, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Communicate clearly with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and maximize customer engagement
- Support team members with inventory management, stock replenishment, and store organization as needed
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills essential for accurate cash handling
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, or product demonstrations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Customer service background that showcases patience, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills
