Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Journeyperson Hairdresser to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional hair care services while delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to determine their hair care needs and desired styles.
- Perform hair cutting, trimming, styling, shampooing, and blow-drying services.
- Provide hair coloring, highlighting, bleaching, toning, and corrective color services.
- Recommend suitable hair care products and maintenance routines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Assist in promoting salon services and retail products.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyperson Hairdresser Certification.
- Previous salon experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends if required.
