Blue Chip Controls is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Instrumentation Technician with hydrotesting and pressure equipment experience to support our expanding client base across Alberta.
We have clients ready to engage Blue Chip for Electrical & Instrumentation work, and we're looking for the right individual to help us support pressure testing, tubing installations, documentation, and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
- Support hydro-pressure testing programs on new tubing installations
- Coordinate and execute pressure testing activities
- Develop and maintain hydrotest documentation packages
- Work with clients, inspectors, and regulatory stakeholders
- Support ABSA-related compliance requirements
- Assist with tubing, instrumentation, and pressure equipment projects
- Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Travel to client sites throughout Alberta as required
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician preferred
- Experience with hydrotesting and pressure equipment systems
- Understanding of ABSA requirements and pressure equipment regulations
- Experience working in oil and gas facilities
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Self-starter capable of working independently
Compensation
- $65.00 per hour
- $5,000 Signing Bonus
