Overview:
We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers for local deliveries and pickups in the GTA, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in driving and ensuring timely and safe deliveries within the designated region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Transport general freight to various destinations within the designated area
- Utilize pump trucks for loading/unloading when required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and safety checks, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all MTO protocols and regulations during road tests, including pre-trip inspections, safety procedures, and equipment checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and positive interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean abstract and CVOR.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience
- Must provide references/Experience Letters
- TDG Certificate
- Criminal background check
- Must be good at backing up onto loading docks
- Strong knowledge of roads and routes, with experience in local deliveries preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a proactive attitude towards preventing accidents and incidents.
