Job Summary
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Development
- Develop new business opportunities across assigned territories.
- Identify and contact potential customers including:
- National and regional distributors
- Grocery chains
- Independent supermarkets
- Cash & Carry stores
- Ethnic grocery retailers
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Catering companies
- Foodservice distributors
- Schedule customer meetings and product presentations.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and annual supply agreements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Execute marketing campaigns for new product launches.
- Participate in trade shows and food exhibitions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sampling events.
- Maintain customer database and CRM records.
- Develop promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback.
Territory Development
- Expand sales throughout Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Atlantic Canada.
- Prospect new distributors and wholesalers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with retail chains and foodservice operators.
Reporting
- Submit weekly sales reports.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts.
- Track sales performance against targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Provide market analysis and competitor reports.
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
