We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawyer (PART-TIME / REMOTE) specializing in Civil Litigation to join our legal advisory team.
Compensation is on a Per Hour Basis plus Generous Revenue Sharing!
Knowledge of real estate and corporate transactions are an absolute requirement. Knowledge of immigration law for business investors to Canada is a bonus. The successful candidate will handle a variety of civil cases, providing expert legal advice, representing clients in Superior Court, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal and ensuring the effective resolution of disputes. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex legal issues within a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our clients. The position requires strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with clarity and precision
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions effectively on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions with professionalism and confidence
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes related to civil disputes
- Collaborate with colleagues and experts to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive representation
Skills
- Proficiency in legal research and case law analysis
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents
- Expertise in legal drafting to produce accurate pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy
- Ability to draft all aspects of motions records .
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation and procedures

Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
