SOME PEOPLE BUILD BOXES. WE BUILD CRAFTSMANSHIP.
Woodworker / Cabinetmaker – Build a Career in Craftsmanship
Starting at $25.00/hour (higher wages based on experience, skill, and demonstrated ability)
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Weekends Off | Paid Training | Benefits | Long-Term Career Opportunity
Whether you're an experienced woodworker, a Red Seal apprentice, a recent graduate, or someone with a solid woodworking foundation who's looking to build a career in the trade—we'd like to meet you.
If your idea of a good day's work is standing back at the end of the day and saying,
"I built that."
...then you'll probably fit in here.
At Westcoast Moulding & Millwork, we've spent more than 35 years building a reputation for quality. That reputation wasn't built by machines—it was built by people who care about doing things properly.
.
We're not just hiring for today's work—we're investing in tomorrow's craftspeople.
We don't expect new employees to know everything. We hire good people, provide training and mentorship, and take pride in watching them develop into skilled woodworkers.
.
What You'll Be Doing
This isn't a production-line position where you'll repeat the same task every day.
You'll work alongside experienced woodworkers and gain hands-on experience in a variety of woodworking disciplines, including:
- Custom stair building
- Door manufacturing and door hanging
- Millwork fabrication
- General woodworking
- Custom projects
- Assembly and fitting
- Sanding and finishing preparation
One week you may be building a custom stair. The next, hanging doors or fabricating millwork. The variety keeps the work interesting while helping you develop a broad range of woodworking skills.
.
Training is provided. As your skills grow, so will your responsibilities. We believe the best way to develop skilled woodworkers is by giving them opportunities to learn, solve problems, and build real projects.
.
Who We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who knows everything.
We're looking for someone who wants to keep learning.
You'll fit in well if you:
- Enjoy working with your hands and take pride in quality craftsmanship.
- Have woodworking experience through school, an apprenticeship, a professional shop, cabinetmaking, furniture building, finish carpentry, or serious personal projects.
- Want to build a long-term career in woodworking and craftsmanship.
- Enjoy learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
- Notice the little details that other people miss.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Take responsibility, solve problems, and leave things better than you found them.
If that sounds like you, we'll teach you the rest.
.
