Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of workstations
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while managing time effectively
- Experience in food handling, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through excellent service
Pay: $17.60 per hour
