Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our new dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software such as as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support the team with general office duties related to medical terminology and documentation
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and protocols
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
- Experience using dental management software
- Certification in dental assisting or related training programs is a plus
- Knowledge of CAD systems for digital imaging or design is beneficial but not required
