Tread Well is a bustling foot clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle in a compassionate, collaborative, and professional environment. Our office also offers a wide selection of specialized footwear to fit both your feet and activity.
We are currently seeking a LPN or RPN with a passion for Foot Care. The Foot Care Nurse will work alongside our Registered Chiropodists performing all care and service within the framework of quality management and the standards and scope of practice set by Tread Well. An advanced Foot Care Certification is mandatory. Training can be provided and certification must be obtained within the first week of hire.
Responsibilities . * Providing foot care to patients within the clinic;
- Monitoring clients' health progress;
- Collaborating with Professionals to provide exceptional care;
- Providing care within the LPN or RPN scope of practice.
- Ensures excellent customer service is maintained at all times
Qualifications
- Current CLPNA or CNO registration
- Experience in Foot Care and Advanced Foot care certification is mandatory
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on assessment and treatment of common foot conditions for chronic diseases
- Experience in diabetes education, primary care and/or chronic disease management is an asset
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, well organized and able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Current criminal background check;
