Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, ensuring precise measurements, and delivering high-quality results that enhance the aesthetic and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with durable, beautiful flooring solutions while maintaining safety and efficiency on every project site.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine flooring layouts and installation procedures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and performing concrete finishing or masonry work as needed to ensure a smooth foundation for flooring installation.
- Measure spaces accurately using tape measures and other tools to cut flooring materials precisely.
- Install various types of flooring including tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet using hand tools and power tools.
- Use caulking, welding, or other sealing techniques to ensure a secure fit and finish for all flooring installations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as cabinet installation, plumbing adjustments, electrical work, or restoration efforts related to flooring projects.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris safely after each project phase.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating to plan projects effectively.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, levels, and measuring devices; experienced with power tools including drills and saws.
- Strong background in construction experience with knowledge of carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and restoration techniques.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and tile laying processes for comprehensive project execution.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow schematics accurately while adhering to safety standards.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project specifications related to flooring installation.

Pay: $50,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
