Job Summary
We are a growing company seeking a reliable and motivated helper to support our drywall projects. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and project efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the drywall trade, and eventually learn more skills.
- Support carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring safety and organization
- Carry tools, materials, and supplies to designated areas as needed
- Support handyman tasks such as minor repairs and maintenance work
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Skills
- Good physical condition to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction, carpentry, or drywall work is preferred
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Skilled at working with their hands
This Helper position is ideal for younger individuals eager to develop their skills in construction trades while supporting ongoing projects. Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
