Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Food Truck team member to deliver exceptional food service in a fast-paced, mobile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food, managing POS transactions, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle cash register operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck, kitchen equipment, and work area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to minimize wait times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food safety certification is advantageous
