Bull Dog Truck Centre, a division of Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group, is now part of Metro Vancouver's established Volvo/Mack Truck dealer. Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group has experienced remarkable growth over the last few years, now including a Manitoba facility, Bull Dog Truck Centre.
We are now accepting applications for a Parts Counter Person to be part of our Manitoba team, in a full-time permanent capacity.
The shift will start as a Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, and in September move to Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am-4pm
We are selectively looking for applicants with the right experience and work ethic to fit our company and join our growing team
Responsibilities:
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
- Pulls orders for delivery, making sure all parts are tagged.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Maintains professional appearance.
What we are looking for:
- Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who have the ability to perform successfully under pressure
- Professional demeanor and superior customer service skills
- Strong computer skills preferred
- Strong Written and Verbal Skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis
- Drivers abstract required
- Saturday shifts are required starting in September
