About the Opportunity

They are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) who is committed to fostering children's development while working alongside a team of dedicated educators.
Responsibilities
- Create and facilitate engaging, child-led, play-based learning experiences that reflect children's interests and curiosity.
- Foster positive, nurturing relationships with children while building strong partnerships with families.
- Implement the principles of How Does Learning Happen?, supporting Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression.
- Observe, document, and communicate children's learning through meaningful learning stories and reflections.
- Design safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage creativity, exploration, and discovery.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful environment where every child and family feels welcomed and valued.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to continuously improve programming and classroom experiences.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in a licensed childcare setting
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), or eligible to register.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent recognized by the CECE).
- Knowledge of play-based and emergent curriculum.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunization records as required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
