Edelweiss is looking to hire a receiver/swamper immediately. This is a part time permanent position
Hours will be Tuesday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:30
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the following tasks:
- Process Shipments: Receive, unload, and unpack incoming shipments of materials, products, or equipment.
- Verify Inventory: Cross-reference incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect all incoming goods for visible damage or defects, and promptly report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all received goods and update the inventory management system [or enter data into specific software, e.g., SAP, Excel].
- Organization: Route received goods to their appropriate storage areas or departments using pallet jacks or dollies
- Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload trucks, trailers, or delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA/OH&S regulations, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Work is performed in both indoor stocking settings and outdoor loading dock environments, subject to varying weather conditions.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including safely lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately read and verify shipping documents.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
