Job Overview
Eflyn is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with various departments to support budgeting and account analysis.
Duties
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize Quickbooks accounting software to manage financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years).
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including account reconciliation, payroll processing, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Experience with cross-border bookkeeping required, including managing transactions and reconciliations between Canadian and U.S. bank accounts, handling currency conversions, and understanding cross-border cash movement between related entities.
