ROLE
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, we are seeking one full-time Team member in our Quality Control department for our facility in Calgary.
The QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting products and materials throughout the production process to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role supports daily production by identifying quality concerns, maintaining consistency, and helping ensure products are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and touch up as necessary
- Identify defects, measurement issues, damage, or inconsistencies throughout the production process
- Complete quality checks and documentation accurately and within required timelines
- Escalate quality concerns or recurring issues to the Lead or Supervisor
- Measure daily output of product through the workstation
- As needed assist in Packaging to palletize product for shipping.
Requirements:
- 1 or 2 years of experience in woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred
- Can lift 50 lbs
- Fluency in English (both reading and writing)
- Good manual dexterity
