Responsibilities:
- Provide piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with students' goals and abilities
- Teach music theory, technique, sight-reading, and performance skills
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to address any concerns or questions
Skills:
- Proficiency in playing the piano and knowledge of various musical styles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Experience working with children, including preschool-aged students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Previous experience in tutoring or classroom instruction is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Guelph, ON N1G 2X6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
