Job Overview:
Our music school is called Music Box Studios and we are in search of French and/or English speaking music teachers. Shifts are weekdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, or 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm and weekends from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Start and end times are flexible and based on your availability. The contract starts in September 2026.
Duties:
- Develop and implement music lessons that engage and educate students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Teach students how to play various musical instruments
- Organize and attend music performances or recitals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
- Previous experience working with children in a teaching or tutoring capacity
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in early childhood education
- Ability to educate students on music theory and history
