Job Summary
We are a non profit organization of dedicated Volunteers seeking a volunteers to be our secretary take our minutes and become a part of our organization volunteer programs that support community engagement and organizational goals. This role involves overseeing volunteer activities, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring impactful service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community service. This is an unpaid position but offers an opportunity to develop professional skills in project management, public speaking, and team coordination while making a meaningful difference in the community.
Duties
- take notes being involved with a positive team that supports mental health train, and effective participation in various community initiatives
- As a team Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to increase participation and retention
- as a team we believe positivity matters
- potential for public speaking to promote volunteer programs and organizational initiatives
- take and report minutes to our board on s a month
- team works to plan breakfast meetings
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, marketing efforts, and community outreach initiatives
- Support the development of marketing materials to promote volunteer as a team player opportunities through various channels in our community
- Assist with recruiting efforts by identifying potential volunteers through outreach campaigns
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in volunteer management or related roles
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse audiences
- Experience in project management and organizational planning
- Background in marketing or outreach strategies is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development
- Administrative experience including record keeping and scheduling software proficiency mainly Microsoft
- Experience in recruiting volunteers or staff for community programs or events
- Teaching or training experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for community service and organizational mission-driven workThis position is ideal for individuals committed to making a positive impact through leadership, community engagement, and program development.

Pay: $1.00-$44.34 per hour
