Established in 1995, Earthworm Horizontal Drilling Ltd (EHD) is a leader in trenchless pipe installations throughout British Columbia. We offer our clients a variety of trenchless pipe services from horizontal drilling, auguring, pipe ramming through all types of ground conditions including solid rock. EHD offers in-house planning and design of bore paths and offer the capabilities to execute bores to on-grade and on-target with an emphasis on occupational and environmental safety.
EHD is currently looking to fill our Labourer seasonal position within our company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
· Move/lift material weighing of 50+ pounds
· Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions
· Ability to pass a drug test
· Some jobs require out of town work (meals and lodging provided)
· Safety motivated
· Team player with strong, effective communication skills
Preference given to candidates with the following:
· Class 1 or Class 3 or Commercial Heavey weight endorsement with a clean driver’s abstract.
· Safety Tickets:
o First Aid & AED/CPR
o CSTS-09
o WHMIS 2015
o Ground Disturbance Supervisory 201
· Mechanically inclined
· Equipment experience
· Self-motivated and eager to learn
DUTIES:
Training will be provided for the ideal candidate:
· Assist in all aspects of drilling operations, rigs and loading/unloading of equipment
· Change bits & reamers on drilling equipment
· Mix mud for drilling operations
· Daily maintenance and vehicle inspections of trucks and field units
· Setup and cleanup of work site
· Drive truck and trailer combination to and from jobsites

* Wages: $25.00-$28.00 per hour and overtime pay, based on experience. Any professional licencing will be reflected at a higher rate.
