Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook who has full availability to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that all food is prepared according to our high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support the KM and kitchen staff by preparing sauces, dressings, and other components as needed.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to prevent contamination.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Preparing food for guests
- Time managing to ensure all product is served in a timely manner
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food handling standards is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
