Reporting jointly to the Provost and Vice-President, Academic on all academic matters and to the Vice-President People, Equity and Inclusion on matters related to equity and employee experience, Faculty Relations leads employer relations with the SFU Faculty Association bargaining unit and directs and administers all employment-related processes associated with the faculty career life cycle.
About the Role
The Director, Faculty Relations Systems provides leadership and vision in the planning, development, implementation, and management of complex, multi-year Faculty Relations projects to provide solutions, systems and business process improvements. The Director leads the management, development and optimization of systems in Faculty Relations to integrate departmental goals and objectives with the fluctuating business needs of the SFU community and the broader needs of the University. As a member of the senior management team, the role provides consultation, advice and support to the Executive Director to advance on strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
