Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, bearings, and hydraulic systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing industrial or commercial equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
- Prior experience in maintenance or repair roles is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
Pay: $23.56-$48.60 per hour
