Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs effectively
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Document repair processes and communicate progress with management and customers as needed
Skills
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good understanding of automotive repair procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different repair challenges
Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour
