What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in daily warehouse and logistics operations, spanning receiving, storage, inventory control, air freight preparation, and shipping.
Operations & Freight
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive, inspect, and validate inbound goods
- Palletize orders and prepare freight for weekly air consolidations
- Strap and shrink-wrap pallets; weigh packages and pallets on scale
- Print, label, and attach shipping documents to packages
- Support daily pickup and delivery operations
- Process warehouse transfers between locations
- Ensure air freight zone security in compliance with Transport Canada regulations
Inventory & Systems
- Maintain accurate inventory for multiple departments
- Perform monthly cycle counts and generate daily inventory reports
- Identify and report exceptions: unshipped orders, shortages, and damages
- Verify and sign Bills of Lading (BOL), confirming box counts
- Track empty pallet inventory and coordinate supplier replenishment
- Enter and maintain data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transport Management System (TMS)
- Organize and optimize inventory locations based on WMS logic
Communication & Team Support
- Communicate with customers and internal colleagues via MS Teams, email, phone, and in person
- Respond promptly to operational requests and follow up as required
- Support onboarding and training of new warehouse team members as needed
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
- Maintain secure handling of goods and access-controlled areas
- Participate in required training sessions and team meetings
- Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration
What You Bring
Education & Certifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Dangerous Goods (DG) Certification — a strong asset
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Proven hands-on experience operating a forklift
Technical & Language Skills
- Bilingual — French & English (verbal and written)
- Comfortable with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) — strong asset
- Basic computer proficiency
