Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel and Apartments Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and apartment units, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to contribute to a high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, apartments, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors, and clean windows to maintain a pristine environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens or towels
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and supply closets
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to handle multiple rooms or areas efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures (industrial cleaning experience is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability
- Friendly attitude with strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
