Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting both interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of materials and techniques. The foreman will be responsible for coordinating crew, managing schedule, completion of safety documents, attending look ahead forecast meetings as well as preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint to various surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with office regarding project budgets, man power and scheduling
- Communicate with client superintendent to coordinate jobs accordingly
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure that painting equipment is clean and in good working order
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Keep work areas clean and tidy
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter foreman on commercial projects
- Experience running crews
- Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
