Job description
We are looking for an experienced Construction Sales and Marketing Manager to lead all of our sales and marketing efforts required to grow our sales in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure and industrial/commercial development projects. In this Sales & Marketing Manager (Engineering and Construction) role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the sales team to plan, organise, and control selling operations of the company’s project portfolio and possible solutions to our clients within construction industry for municipal water & wastewater infrastructure and industrial/commercial development projects. Once hired, you will be working from our Newmarket Office located at 18075 Leslie Street-Unit 210, Newmarket.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning – expand company’s customer base and ensure strong company presence
- Marketing – create marketing strategies up to creation of its marketing collaterals
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Bidding and tendering
- Pipeline and forecasting for the sale of engineering an construction projects
To succeed in this Sales & Marketing Manager (Engineering and Construction) role, you will need to have a strong network and connection within municipal water and wastewater industry (from contractors, developers to engineers). Experience with selling commercial and industrial projects is a major plus.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering)
- At least 8 - 10 years of sales experience in selling municipal water and wastewater projects to major developers
- Strong network and connection with different businesses and decision makers within construction industry (from contractors, developers to engineers)
- Proven track record in consistently achieving targets
