Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice in replacement of our existing full-time Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients in a comfortable and relaxing manner. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting oral health.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Skilled with radiographs and charting.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patient on dental treatments and adjust periodontal therapies.
- Maintain an organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in British Columbia, Canada
- Familiarity with terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate treatments effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to educate patients such that they accept their dental treatments.
- Promote and facilitate the dentists treatment protocol.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
