Overview
Eden Gardens is a non-profit long term care home providing specialized dementia in Nanaimo, BC. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurse’s (LPN) with some experience in long term care and or assisted living, who are looking to grow their skills in a supportive, team-based environment.
This role is ideal for an LPN who is confident in core nursing skills and ready to further develop expertise in dementia care and complex senior care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on nursing care in a long-term care (LTC) setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document resident conditions and care needs
- Support residents living with dementia and cognitive impairments
- Collaborate with RNs, Health Care Aides (HCAs), and interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to individualized care plans
- Provide guidance and support to care staff as needed
- Promote a safe environment following infection control and care standards
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in British Columbia
- 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred (long term care and or assisted living)
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Experience with electronic documentation systems is an asset
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Available for day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekends

Pay: $33.78-$42.79 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 – 20.0 per week
