Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Grill Operator to join our team on weekends. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food service and experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking grilled items, ensuring quality standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Operate the grill to cook a variety of menu items efficiently and consistently
- Prepare food items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness of the grill area
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain inventory levels of grilling supplies and report shortages to management
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining experience
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate grilling equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience in meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work weekends consistently and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Pay: $17.60 per hour
