Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a passion for hospitality. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Operate POS systems such as Micros for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Engage with guests to create a positive dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly
- Assist in setting up tables, restocking supplies, and closing duties as needed
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, calculating bills, and managing cash transactions
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience working in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction
