McLaren Tree Care is hiring for an arborist climber position! We are a premium tree care company servicing Kingston and the surrounding area. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team and add another crew!
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated individual to direct and support crew members to complete daily tasks from a position in the canopy! Working with a crew you will safely and efficiently operate to achieve the highest standards of practice and ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for accessing the canopy via either safe and efficient climbing or through the use of a mobile elevated work platform.
Ensure that any equipment in use is inspected and routine maintenance is preformed.
Ensure customer satisfaction is met while maintaining strict adherence to safe work procedures and modern arboriculture standards.
Follow all safe work requirements both legislative and company specific.
Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
Safe operation of chainsaw, chipper and light to heavy equipment.
Strong tree identification skills.
Provide leadership, mentorship and instruction in the field while reporting daily to manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to attain.
Minimum Experience: 2 years Industry Experience pruning and removal
Valid ARZ/DZ Drivers License with a clean abstract

COMPENSATION:
35-40 $/hr Potential for Salary Position. Benefits Package after probation.
