Job Description
Winnipeg-based CanTalk Canada Inc., a global language telecommunications corporation, is currently hiring Seasonal Multilingual Customer Support Representatives for our upcoming summer training class starting June 15th.
We are looking for fluent bilingual candidates in:
- French-English
- Spanish-English
- Arabic-English
This is a seasonal customer service and technical support role supporting users with online ticketing and web-based platforms.
Responsibilities
- Communicate over the phone with users experiencing difficulties purchasing online tickets.
- Reproduce, diagnose, and resolve technical online issues encountered by users.
- Provide guidance and support in response to customer inquiries and technical difficulties.
- Handle inbound customer service and technical support calls.
- Deliver professional customer support in the required languages.
- Work with internet-based software and multiple computer systems.
- Identify customer needs, research issues, and provide effective solutions and alternatives.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent phone etiquette in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Seasonal Full-Time and Part-Time
- Hourly Wage: $16.00 CAD
- Position Duration: June 15th, 2026 to November 1st, 2026
- Hours: Based on call volumes
- Availability Required: Weekdays and Weekends between 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Although this is a seasonal position, there may be opportunities for continued employment based on operational needs and employee performance.
Mandatory Training Schedule
This position includes a mandatory 5-day training program:
- June 15 & 16: Online training via Microsoft Teams
- June 17 – 19: In-person training at our Winnipeg office
Training Hours
Please note:
- Attendance for all training days is mandatory.
- Candidates must be available for both online and in-person training sessions.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must communicate fluently in English plus one of the following languages:
- French
- Spanish
- Arabic
- Strong customer service and active listening skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Ability to resolve customer inquiries independently or with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (minimum 30 WPM preferred).
- Ability to work with multiple computer systems and internet-based applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Successful candidates must present valid photo identification and may be required to complete a criminal record check.
