Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support meal preparation during busy periods, including assembling plates and garnishing dishes
- Rely on excellent serving skills to deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient operations
- Follow all restaurant policies related to food handling, safety, and hygiene
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or carrying items as needed
- Experience with serving or delivering food is a plus but not required
- A positive attitude with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences
