Patriot Forge Corporation is actively recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will provide hands-on mechanical support to our forging, machining, and shipping departments.
Responsibilities:
-
Repair, rebuild and perform preventative maintenance tasks
-
Weld, repair and perform maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems, gearboxes, machine tools, gas furnaces and overhead cranes
-
Capable of rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and accumulators along with basic welding skills

Maintain standard housekeeping (5S) in the Maintenance area
-
Comply with company policies and procedures
-
Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointment by management
-
Comply with H&S management program to future job postings.
Experience:

Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification will be given preference
-
Provincial Certificate of Qualification minimum
-
Technical Standards and Safety Authority Industrial Maintenance Technician designation is considered an asset
-
Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills are a must
-
Must have own maintenance tools
-
Good command of the English language both written and verbal
-
Excellent reading and interpreting machine assembly drawings and hydraulic schematics
-
Demonstrated communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
-
Ability to work with little supervision
