Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast items
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Basic kitchen skills including use of cooking equipment, knife skills, and ingredient assembly
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
