Torcan Lift Equipment is seeking to hire a full time, permanent licensed aerial lift equipment technician/mechanic. Our team is looking for a driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and excel in their career!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Repairing and maintaining various aerial lift equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers
- Performing preventive maintenance and generating work orders as required
- Documenting all service and repair information
- Maintaining and repairing complex electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems, while using a high degree of judgement
Requirements:
- Mechanic license
- 5 years plus experience with repairing and maintaining various Aerial equipment to safety and working standards
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical problems
- Mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines and hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- His or her own tools applicable to position
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Exhibits strong teamwork, verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of various equipment such as Skyjack, Genie and JLG.
