About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and professional Pool Maintenance & Property Care Technician to join our team in Langley. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-presented facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of swimming pools, as well as the general upkeep and cleanliness of the property to ensure it remains in excellent condition year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine swimming pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and equipment inspections.
- Monitor and maintain pool filtration, pumps, and other pool systems.
- Ensure the pool area complies with all health and safety regulations.
- Complete regular inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including common areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds.
- Perform general housekeeping and light maintenance duties as required.
- Keep maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies when required.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Pool Operator Certification (or the required pool maintenance certification) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in pool maintenance and/or property maintenance is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pool equipment, water chemistry, and safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
