Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service standards.
- Supervise and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize sales and profitability.
- Coordinate payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Lead recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, conducting onboarding sessions, and supporting team development initiatives.
- Implement marketing strategies to boost store visibility and attract new customers while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; ensure compliance with cash handling policies.
- Monitor store budgets, control expenses, and manage organizational tasks efficiently using time management skills.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in retail management or a similar leadership role with a focus on team management and sales management.
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating with vendors, conducting purchasing activities, and managing pricing strategies.
- Experience with payroll administration, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks within a retail environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising techniques, and retail sales processes.
- Ability to lead training & development initiatives while fostering a motivating team atmosphere through effective leadership skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with strong math aptitude for inventory control and financial accuracy.
