We currently have an opening for General Laborer for a project at Highland Valley Copper (HVC) in Logan Lake. Applicants that meet the following criteria will be given preference:
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
- Willingness to work out of town when required
- Experienced working around construction and/or heavy equipment
- Drilling, mining, or oilfield experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently or with others
- Well organized
- Takes workplace safety seriously and believes in a safe work culture
- CSTS or site ready BC
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to wear a respirator
Duties include
- Assisting with loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Cleanup and organizing
- Snow removal and general maintenance of work areas
- Participating in health and safety meetings
- Pre and post project inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Reporting to BAT yard supervisor
- Assisting on projects as required
- Pick up and delivery of supplies
- Assisting HD Mechanic
- Power washing equipment
- Maintaining accurate documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.83-$27.19 per hour
