Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong skills in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable operations. The Bookkeeper will play a key part in providing financial clarity and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage, to maintain accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues requiring resolution
- Complete payroll processing and related reporting requirements
- Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis
- Prepare financial reports for management review on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software as QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Ability to perform account analysis and account reconciliation accurately
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related tax regulations is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is highly desirable

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
