JT Powersports – New Lowell, Ontario
JT Powersports is expanding its digital media presence, and we’re looking for a talented videographer and video editor to join our content team on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for a creative professional — or a student/recent graduate — looking to build a strong portfolio while working with a growing local brand.
I will be the on‑camera host; your role is to handle the filming, editing, and repurposing of content across multiple platforms.
Position Overview
We are seeking someone who can support the creation of high‑quality content for:
- YouTube (long‑form product reviews, tutorials, and lifestyle content)
- TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts (short‑form repurposed clips)
- Podcast episodes (video + audio editing)
This is a flexible, project‑based role with recurring work for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Film on‑location content
- Edit long‑form YouTube videos with clean pacing, graphics, and sound
- Create short‑form vertical clips optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
- Assist with podcast audio/video editing (asset but not required)
- Collaborate on creative direction, shot lists, and content planning
Ideal Candidate
- Videography and editing experience (professional or student-level)
- Proficient with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media formats and trends
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Access to personal camera gear is an asset but not mandatory
- Students or recent graduates from Georgian College’s Digital Video or Digital Content Creation programs are strongly encouraged to apply
Schedule & Compensation
- Part‑time, Flexible hours based on project needs
- Compensation can be hourly or weekly rate can be negotiated.
