Top Gun Feeders Inc. (a division of Titan Livestock Group of Companies), is currently looking for an energetic individual to fill the position of full time Yard Maintenance Worker located at our Feedlot in Moose Jaw, SK. (Hwy 2, 8km south of Moose Jaw).

Responsibilities:
Perform general yard maintenance duties including mowing grass, weeding, washing equipment, painting, shoveling bunks, shoveling snow
Assist with yard maintenance including repairing slab fences, wire fences, and pipe fences
Assist with cleaning, maintenance and repair of feed bunks and water bowls. Clears ice and mud surrounding bowls ensuring adequate access for animals
Ensures feed bunks are clean and free of debris. Shovels out bad feed and moves rations to another pen when needed.
Assists with bedding ensuring clear communication between bale processor and tractor
Clean up of yard, pens, roads, barns, buildings, and fields
Watch gates as required
Assist with livestock management
Operate various equipment including skid steer, box scraper, UTV, loader, feed truck and dump truck as required
Others projects/duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year work experience handling cattle/livestock and working in a farm or feedlot setting
Preference given to candidates who have experience operating farm equipment
Must be able to perform manual physical labour
Excellent communication and strong organization skills
Must be self-motivated with a positive team player attitude
Must take initiative to assist others when own tasks are completed
Able to work well independently with little supervision
Must have attention to detail
Is consistently at work and on time
Physically fit and able to push, pull, lift up to 50+ lbs and to bend and kneel with comfort
Must be comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Schedule includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible and able to work longer hours/days during busy seasons
Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing and verbal)
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
What we offer:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
